Kyoto's traditional geisha area in front of Yasaka Shrine. It eventually evolved to become one of the most exclusive and well-known geisha districts in all of Japan.
lined with tea-houses.

If you are lucky, you can see maiko or geisya on her way to tea house.

It is one of Kyoto's five flower streets, and it is a street less than 550 meters long and less than 2 meters wide. In English "Point" and in Portuguese "Point" are the origin and represent the narrow path ahead. Old-fashioned restaurants and tea-houses are lined up, and the lively atmosphere of Shijokawaramachi is a completely different and moist mood. At dusk, when a light turns on an alley, you can see maiko or geisya. The floor that overhangs the Kamogawa is a summer feature. You can enjoy a lot of Kyoto sentiment just by walking.
